Will vs. 1/72 Jigabachi AV

I know there's a lot of 1/72 scale Jigabachi review out there already so I was kind of hesitant to post this but dammit, I bled out good money for this so here. we. go!

Kotobukiya made this kit with three plates for Tachikomas, six plates for the Jigabachi, and three parts for the stand which is all in the same plastic bag but in compartments. There are no stickers or decals so you need to paint this kit. Don't know how many shades of gray you're gonna need though.

TACHIKOMA

Here's the plate for the Tachikoma. All you need is this and nothing else. You could also see there are wheels in here but it's stationary. What would you expect from a 1/72 scale model of a Tachikoma?

There's not much problems about the model but be careful on the legs. You lose those feet and you'll spend a lot of time finding them. You'd probably want to cement them. Articulations is limited. The legs are movable by ball sockets. Arms can only move side to side and can be easily detached. Overall they are quite cute as they always was. Actually this is what sealed the deal for me on this kit. If you're into resin casting, you could make an army of Tachikomas.

JIGABACHI

As you could see the Jigabachi looks awesome. There are some problems I've ran into building this but nothing too big. Just that the fins on the tail fin needs cementing and other parts like the part where the gun vulcan thorax is to attach themselves. I still don't understand why the missiles have to be made from three parts. I thought that the thorax is too tight but that kinda solves itself. Don't know how it does that. One of the things that kinda fooled me about this kit is that it has a landing gear in the thorax. Turns out it has a different set of parts for that. You just pop it in or off. But it would be pretty cool if there's a landing gear that can extend out of that box. There are also this thin parts sticking out there like... uh... well sticks. It says so in the manual that it's breakable so be careful on that.

So here are the models without paint. I wish I could have an air brush right now.
